Back when we started working on Squarespace 6 over three years ago, one of our primary goals was to re-engineer Squarespace from the ground up as a platform so that we could create any site imaginable within Squarespace. Since then, Squarespace has introduced a powerful developer experience that we’ve used to develop all of our themes as well as the main Squarespace website. We’re continually working to create the best developer experience for an online publishing platform out there.
Over the last few months, we’ve been watching Brace.io, a company that shares our passion for simplicity and delightful developer experiences. Today, we’re happy to announce that Brace.io is joining us here at Squarespace. We’ll be working together to enhance our own developer workflow, and to create other beautifully simple experiences within the Squarespace platform.
