Squarespace Brings Snark Park’s Immersive Experience Online

Squarespace is expanding our long-standing partnership with artists and customers Daniel Arsham and the entire Snarkitecture collective, including Ben Porto and Alex Mustonen, with the launch of Snark Park, an exhibition space in New York City’s newly opened Hudson Yards. Snark Park’s inaugural installation Lost and Found is a monochromatic,  maze-like landscape that visitors can explore and find hidden worlds within.

Together with the Snarkitecture team, Squarespace helped translate Snark Park’s unique physical environment into the digital world with a bespoke online experience at snarkpark.com. Snark Park’s Squarespace website will serve as the exclusive destination where visitors can learn about and purchase tickets to Lost and Found.

Squarespace was invited to visit Snark Park pre-opening during its construction for an exclusive look at the installation space in development. We sat down with the Snarkitecture partners to discuss their creative vision for Snark Park and the custom materials that went into the build.  Watch the video we created below and visit snarkpark.com to get tickets to see the final installation for yourself.

Both Squarespace and Snarkitecture are New York-based companies that support the democratization of good design. Together, we are building upon this shared mission to bring a design-driven experience to the public both in real life and online. We’re excited to see the innovation in development taking place at Hudson Yards, and are proud to have a hand in the city’s effort to expand access to arts and culture to communities in Manhattan and beyond.
