We wouldn’t trade NYC for the world, but every so often (and especially when the weather gets unbearable), we like to head out west for an opportunity to reconnect with Squarespace users there. This Wednesday, July 25 at 6:30pm, Squarespace Founder and CEO Anthony Casalena will be hosting a San Francisco Meetup at Disqus HQ.

9 Days in Texas: SXSW 2012

It's that time of year again and the Squarespace team is heading to Texas for South By Southwest. After the massive success of our food truck last year, we've decided to it again—but bigger. This year we'll be in Austin, TX, the entire week, from March 9th-17th. That's nine whole days of amazing food from Austin's best vendors.

But of course, that's not all. Swing by to get an inside look at Squarespace 6 from the people who built it. We'll be showing our new product all week, and giving out beta invitations right on-site. Don't miss out.

Here's everything you need to know:

THE LOT

Come and visit us at the Squarespace Food Truck for free food all week! You can find us in the same spot as last year, parked at 5th & Neches (one block from the convention center). From March 9th through the 17th, we'll start serving every day at 11AM, stopping when the food runs out. Enjoy a custom playlist of killer music, courtesy of our friends at exfm, while you eat.

Food Truck Updates: Beverage Edition

• Coffee drinkers, come get your morning fix at SXSW courtesy of Cuvee Coffee. They'll be serving all kinds of caffeineted delights every morning before the food truck opens, from 8:30AM until 11AM. 
• And during meal times, we're excited to offer an array of flavors from Maine Root Soda to pair with your food. Enjoy!

Squarespace at WPPI 2012

Each year 16,000 photographers gather in Las Vegas for the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) convention. WPPI is an organization that serves the educational and business needs of wedding and portrait photographers and organizes some of the world's largest photography trade shows.

Squarespace will be joining the event on February 20-23rd, providing a wealth of tools and tips for photographers to complete their professional setup. Here's everything you need to know about Squarespace at WPPI 2012:

The Exhibit

Our exhibit at booth #1665 will be hard to miss, but here's the marked floor plan. Some things you can look forward to if you stop by:

• Demos. Come experience the new standard in professional portfolios for yourself. Our team will be giving one-on-one demos of Squarespace 6 all day long.
• Site setups. Bring a thumb drive with your photos and we'll get you started with a portfolio site.
• Giveaways. T-shirts, GorillaPods, and more...

The Party

"Airplanes and Blazers 2," the biggest party of WPPI, is on Monday night, February 20th at 10PM. Pick up your wristband at our booth for an easy entrance at the party.

The Speakers

Squarespace Meetups are coming soon to a city near you. We're starting with our home base of New York City with a meetup on Thursday, February 9th at 7:00PM.
