Our New Favorite Bank!

We love that more and more businesses are discovering Squarespace as the perfect solution for their needs, so we were thrilled when the folks at First Bank approached us with a unique idea.

In an effort to encourage small businesses to sign up for accounts, First Bank is turning the age-old give away toaster idea right on its ear. They are currently offering a promotion which includes the gift of a full year of Squarespace to all new Business Account customers (Correction: This only applies to new accounts and if you received a code from the bank.) So if you're in Colorado, maybe you need a new account too?

Just for the occasion, we designed some slick black Squarespace gift cards. Ok, so they don't come with a personal concierge like a black American Express card, but they're still darn cool!

Woah! For some reason those gift cards look really cool. It would be cool if Squarespace subscribers could get business cards that look somewhat similar. Then those of us who run a business or portfolio would have something cool to give to people we meet. And people would say, "Wow! That business card looks awesome!" and I would reply with, "Only from Squarespace, can you get something this cool!"

That's an amazing promotion. Another way to target potential squarespace.com users would be to attract the attention of Credit Unions that specialize their marketing efforts at the Tech community. There's got to be a few in WA. I wonder if IBM has a credit union in Minnesota?
