Calorie Free Caramel Frappuccinos

The last few months have been frantic around here, but in a good way. Like a kind of Frappuccino- sugary-caffeine-induced-frantic. You love it, you’re getting a lot done, and it tastes like a little slice of heaven. ;)

We’re in the final stages of a new Squarespace release that is so huge it almost feels like we’re launching an entirely new product. To make another Starbucks reference, it’s like when you’ve been addicted to Caramel Frappuccinos for years, and then they come out with one that is calorie free. And it tastes better. With chocolate chips even.

It’s that good.

We promise previews as we get closer to our launch date, which will be in about a month.

Squarespace has nice features,it is true. However, flattery will get Squarespace nowhere. A big problem is the lack of control of type size, fonts, and line spacing. The are elementary word processing function that are absent from Squarespace.

No idea what this is in reference to -- all of those elements have been controllable for over 3 years on our platform. This is done from the Appearance area of your site manager.

I've been a member of squarespace for a short time, now, but I'm convinced that I made the best choice.
I'm eager to see the new features, because I also have some items in a 'squarespace features wishlist', specially related to e-commerce and managing more than one SS website.

Hi Stacey,

Our initial estimates of "about a month" given about a month ago were a little off, as some feature creep appeared towards the end. We don't announce dates for a reason (we refuse to be held to them if it means compromising what we're releasing), so in this situation, and as always -- we apologize for putting the expectation in place.
