Squarespace reviewed at SBC

Squarespace.com bills itself as “the best way to put your Web site, and blog, on the Web.” Since we’ve tried more than our share of hosting services over the years, we decided to put them to the test. And you know what? They just might be right.

Jamie Bsales at Small Business Computing has written a great testimonial for Squarespace that includes a full product review. The screenshots and feature details rival our own site! Thanks for the great write up, Jamie.

I agree. I love Squarespace. The format is very user friendly, extremely reliable and Squarespace has a fantastic support team. I wish there was a 3 columned layout but aside from that, there's not much to complain about. I swear by Squarespace.

Fantastic review for Squarespace. Those of us investing time in our sites probably feel loyalty to Squarespace. It's the platform we have chosen of the myriad of site builders on the planet - so such positive affirmation is great.

Thanks for posting the reivew, Krystyn. I adore SS, its elegance and ease of use and the value for the $$.

And, I want to add that I'm with Amy. We business bloggers need a 3 column design, and across-the-top navigation (just like SS blog!!!).

When you do something well--we're gonna ask for more!

We hear you! We're actually working on some adjustments to our system to allow for three column layouts, and layouts with top navigation. (At this time, there is no way to designate which items added to your Architecture apply to a column other than your sidebar without writing CSS.)

This inspired me to do a similar activity on my swedish blog: http://www.text.nu/nytt-och-noterat/vill-du-ha-en-lika-snygg-och-google-stark-blogg-som-jag.html

It says: "If you wanna have a great looking blog like mine, and if you wanna end up high on Google - the answer is Squarespace"

Thx for the greatest tool ever!

This is my first time posting to this site and it sounds like Squarespace is the best source for blogging.

I researched the Internet for four months earlier this year to learn more about best practices, etc., and also find the easiest and quickest way to build a website. I found Squarespace after going through Wordpress, Typepad, et al, and hitting roadblocks with one aspect or another. Kudos to Squarespace for making it easy in every way -- from building the architecture to asking a question. Thumbs up!
